I'm M.S.Anand, Senior Frontend Engineer based in Indianapolis. I build things that work — AI-powered features, API integrations, design systems, WebRTC platforms — and I'm currently learning to do a handstand, which honestly has a lot in common with frontend engineering. Looks simple from the outside. Deeply humbling once you actually try it.
Six years in, I've shipped across the full frontend spectrum — from pixel-perfect component libraries to real-time video platforms to compliance tooling with complex validation engines. I don't specialize in one thing. I specialize in making the whole thing work, fast, and not fall apart at 3am.
I still think most teams are overcomplicating their stack. You probably don't need that abstraction. What you need is a clear architecture, a fast feedback loop, and someone who gives a damn about the details from the API contract all the way down to the CSS variable name. That's the part I'm good at.

Currently training for my first triathlon. Also attempting a freestanding handstand, which is going about as well as most JavaScript rewrites — promising progress, unexpected setbacks, but committed to the outcome.
Hot take
AI won't replace good engineers. It'll replace the ones who stopped being curious.
